Look at your internal SaaS data. What interesting trends can you pull?
Create a dedicated “Statistics” page on your site (e.g., “Email Marketing Statistics 2026”).
Pitch that specific data point to journalists on HARO (Help A Reporter Out) or Connectively.
Also, use the SerpSpur Backlink Gap Analysis tool. Find exactly where your top 3 competitors share links. If a site links to all 3 of them, it is a resource page, and your pitch changes to: “Your list is missing the newest player in the space.”
